Hello! I am Manojna Vuppalapati, a multidisciplinary creative based in Brooklyn, New York, and I hold an MFA in Communication Design from Pratt Institute.

My practice is concept-driven and built on research and synthesis. I work with systems across editorial design, identity, and image, with a particular interest in collective memory and visual culture.

I usually get inspired by immersing myself in my surroundings and exploring ordinary things to bring out new meanings.

Graduate Assistant, Archivist PhotographerJanuary 2025 - June 2026

Photographed over 250 pieces from the Mary McFadden collection for Pratt’s Fashion Department, leading shoot setup and staging alongside a team of graduate assistants.
Curated selects and ran post-production, editing and color correcting every image to a consistent standard so silhouette, surface, and construction detail read accurately across the archive.
Cataloged pieces with documentation of materials, technique, and garment history, and maintained the file structure and database behind the department's archive.
Ran inventory checks across the collection, matching physical items against database records to keep the archive accurate.
Prepared the documentation for publication on JSTOR, making the collection searchable for students researching garment construction and history.

Planned and designed social graphics across a client roster spanning designers, photographers, and small businesses, including ATNN Design, Weronika Photography, Leap Studios, and Made by Tiff.
Worked within each client's established visual language, adapting type, color, and layout so output stayed recognizably theirs across every platform.
Developed pins and motion graphics as a distinct format, extending static campaigns into animated and scroll-native placements.
